Your healer today, your provider today, your testimony giver today, the One crushing your enemies now for you, lifting up your head above your enemies now, the One showing you mercy upon mercy now, will one day become your JUDGE WITH A FLAME OF FIRE IN HIS EYES. Too many political parties may cause challenges in the forthcoming election. Revealed by INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission says its resources will be taxed to the limit at elections given the sheer number of political parties in the country. The commission disclosed that there are 68 registered political parties while over 100 more are seeking registration and that nunber is expected to increase.

This is according to the Chief Technical Adviser to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Bolade Eyinla who made the disclosure in Abuja at a retreat organised by the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru. Eyinla reeled out the facts and figures while delivering a keynote address at the event, which was titled.

He said:

“Currently there are 68 registered political parties in Nigeria. As of today, there are more than 100 associations that have applied to INEC to register as political parties. This raises a number of questions which we want this retreat to address.
" He expressed doubt at INEC's ability to monitor the congresses, conventions and primaries of all parties contesting over 1,000 elective positions each across the nation.
He added;

“We are also going to be challenged if these 68 political parties and counting continue this way. We are just a commission. I cannot begin to imagine even as the technical adviser, how we will divide ourselves to monitor party conventions and primaries of 68 political parties across the length and breadth of this country. Already we have envisaged some of these challenges and we are coming up with strategies to deal with them in our election project plan.

“Ancillary to this is the fact that political party agents will also increase. I can imagine 68 political party agents in a polling unit. I think these are issues that we have to manage; but most importantly, how do we manage the ballot for 68 political parties?

“I think perhaps one of the largest ballots that I have seen is that of Afghanistan where the ballot paper is nearly the size of a prayer mat. Given our level of literacy, I think that is going to be a major challenge and as we know, the question of exclusion is a major issue in the electoral process.

“The chairman was literally sleeping and waking with the ballot for Anambra State election to ensure that no party was excluded; to ensure that the names and logo of the parties were correct because any slip could nullify the election. So, I think there is a challenge with managing the ballot that will come with the increasing number of political parties.”

MORNING COFFEE Lecture

Beloveth; The Holy Ghost is passing a message across your destiny pathway today: In this world of deceit, stick to the truth always! Stick to the truth always is winning principle in life and ministry and it will help you to defeat enemies in 2018! It will also take away the garment of shame and accelerate your decoration! Proverbs 19:5 says, A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape. It is saying that he who speaks lies will not escape from SHAME AT LAST! In this new year, form a strong habit of always telling the truth, in and out of church, in rain or in sunshine. Lying may look like a way out, but it is actually a way into EVENTUAL DISGRACE. Lying is the language of the devil. Walk in truth and no matter how the devil and his demonic lawyers want to entangle and confuse you as you walk through life keep saying the truth all the time! Good morning!

FG replies Obasanjo and humbles his letter

The Federal Government on Wednesday said it had taken ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s condemnation of Nigeria’s political system and his assessment of President Muhammadu Buhari administration in good faith.

It added that Obasanjo might have not been able to notice government’s efforts on economy because of his busy schedule.

PHOTOS: Obasanjo’s letter to Buhari on sale in Abuja

It said it had no reason to believe that Obasanjo had any motive beyond the wellbeing of the nation in issuing the statement.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, stated this while addressing State House correspondents at the end of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Mohammed said the government appreciated what Obasanjo said concerning the present administration’s performance in two out of the three key issues that formed its campaign –fighting corruption and tackling insurgency.

He, however, regretted that the former President believed that the administration did not deserve a pass mark in the area of the economy, which is the third of the campaign promises.

The minister said in the face of massive challenges, the administration had done creditably well.

Mohammed said, “We believe that Chief Obasanjo, because of his very busy schedule, may not have been fully availed of developments in the government’s efforts to revamp the economy, which was battered by the consequences of over-dependence on a commodity as well as unprecedented pillaging of the treasury.

“Today, most of the indices by which an economy is measured are looking up. Permit me to say, however, that Nigeria would not have exited recession through a mere order or if the administration had not made use of ‘good Nigerians’ who could help.”

The minister also described the debate on whether Buhari should seek re-election or not as a distraction.

“It is true that many Nigerians have been calling on the President to run again, while others are opposed to his return. However, we believe this issue is a distraction for the President at this time. This is because Mr. President spends every waking hour tackling the enormous challenges facing the nation, most of which were bequeathed to his administration by successive past administrations.”

On the herders-farmers’ clashes, the minister said the administration was determined to end the crisis once and for all, not minding that fact that the clashes predated the present government.

He urged Nigerians to have faith in the administration’s ability to resolve the crisis, and to watch out for concrete measures in that regard.

Listing some of the achievements of the present administration, Mohammed said foreign reserves peaked at $40bn, the highest level in about four years, and up from $24bn just a year ago, even though the price of oil had crashed woefully.

He quoted the National Bureau of Statistics as reporting that inflation had fallen for 11 consecutive months, standing at 15.37 per cent as of December 2017, describing it as the lowest inflation rate since January 2017.

He added that the determined implementation of the Treasury Single Account had stopped the haemorrhaging of the treasury, disclosing that N108bn had been saved from removal of maintenance fees payable to banks, pre-TSA.

Reekado Banks brother/manager remanded in Kirikiri prison for 2M show deal

Last week, LIB exclusively reported the news of Mavin act Reekado Banks who was invited to the Ogba Area G police station, regarding a case of obtaining the sum of N2m as the fee for a performance at a wedding in Benin City on the 23rd of December, 2017 but failed to show up.

The latest update on the case now according to the camp of Uwa Igbinedion who took the matter to the police is that Reekado Banks and his team refused to refund the money, saying he incurred “logistical costs” - despite not honoring the deal.

Following repeated invitations by the police which Reekado Banks reportedly refused to honour, his brother/Manager, Temi, was today arraigned before a court in Ikeja after which he was remanded to the Kirirkiri Maximum Prison, even as the singer is still at large.

The case has been adjourned until the 19th of February 2018.‎

MORNING COFFEE Lecture

Beloveth; Isaiah 60:1 says, Arise and shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. When your season of shining and decoration arrives, nothing can stop you from shining and being decorated because heaven has declared it and the earth and forces that are responsible for its manifestation must go ahead to fully enforce it in your favour. In the book of Esther 6:10-11, Wicked Haman, unaware of heaven's decision to honour and decorate Mordecai, decided to seek permission from the king to hang Mordecai but instead received the rudest shock and frustration of his life; He was commanded by the king to go and decorate Mordecai and announce his elevation and shining for all to hear and see. I prophesy; An enemy will decorate, announce and defend you this by force in Jesus name! An enemy shall suffer a big loss because of you! Their prayers and their divination shall BACKFIRE this year! They shall sing the song of HAD I KNOWN but it will be too late! Good morning!

Arewa consultative forum (ACF) fires back Obasanjo

The explosive letter released on Tuesday by former president Olusegun Obasanjo has taken an ethnic divide with the Arewa Consultative Forum, releasing a statement challenging the opinion of the former President. Obasanjo in his letter called on President Buhari to honorably resign no and go back to his home to rest. He said the president should forget about contesting for  a second term.

In a swift reaction, the Northern socio-cultural group, the Arewa Consultative Forum ( ACF ), in a statement released and signed by its spokesperson, Muhammad Ibrahim Biu, said that, former President Olusegun Obasanjo cannot stop President Muhammadu Buhari from running again in 2019. Biu in the statement said though the former President has right to express his opinion like any other Nigerian, the decision lies with Buhari and his party to either contest or not.

The statement credited to former President Obasanjo that President Buhari should not re-run 2019 election, it is his democratic right to express his view like any other Nigerian on all issues including democracy. However, it is President Buhari’s prerogative and that of his party to decide on whether to re-contest or not”, the statement in part read

Tinubu's secret meeting with Buhari exposed

APC National leader, Bola Tinubu, says the closed door meeting he had with President Buhari on Tuesday, had nothing to do with the explosive open letter ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo released earlier the same day. In a statement released by his media aide, Tunde Rahman,  the former Lagos state governor said the meeting was one of Buhari’s usual meetings with the party leaders.

Today’s visit by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande to the Presidential Villa was scheduled last week. President Buhari periodically schedules talks with Asiwaju Tinubu and Baba Akande, as he does with other Nigerians and APC figures, to discuss substantive issues pertaining to the governance of the country and matters concerning the party. This visit was one such meeting. As such, the meeting had nothing to do with the statement of former President Obasanjo. It is totally unconnected. At the time of the meeting, Asiwaju Tinubu and Baba Akande were even unaware that President Obasanjo had released his statement.” the statement read

15 key points in Obasanjo letter to Buhari

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday released a ‘special press statement’ where he cautioned President Muhammadu Buhari against re-contesting for the 2019 general elections, among others. In the statement titled "THE WAY OUT: A CLARION CALL FOR COALITION FOR NIGERIA MOVEMENT," Obasanjo raised some issues of national importance. Below are top fifteen things he said in his letter to President Buhari: 1. Obasanjo acknowledged he knew that President Buhari “is weak in the knowledge and understanding of the economy.” He added: “Although, I know that you cannot give what you don’t have and that economy does not obey military order.  You have to give it what it takes in the short-, medium- and long-term.” 2. He said President Buhari is weak “in understanding and playing in the foreign affairs sector.” 3. He asked Buhari to stop condoning corruption among some inner caucus of the Presidency. “Culture of condonation and turning blind eye will cover up rather than clean up. And going to justice must be with clean hands,” Obasanjo urged the President. 4. He acknowledged President Buhari’s achievement in the fight against insurgency “although it is not yet uhuru!” 5. He accused the Buhari-led federal government of wittingly or unwittingly allowing the herdsmen/crop farmers’ crisis “to turn sour and messy.” He said: “It is no credit to the Federal Government that the herdsmen rampage continues with careless abandon and without finding an effective solution to it.” 6. He accused some Governors, who endorsed President Buhari for a second term a day after 73 victims (of herdsmen attacks) were being buried in a mass grave in Benue State without condolence, of being insensitive and callous. 7. He said the issue of herdsmen/crop farmers’ dichotomy should not be left on the political platform of blame-game and charged the Federal Government to take the lead in bringing about solution that protects life and properties of herdsmen and crop farmers alike and for them to live amicably in the same community. 8. He also accused President Buhari of “nepotic deployment bordering on clannishness and inability to bring discipline to bear on errant members of his nepotic court,” with special reference to Mainagate. 9. He said President Buhari’s “poor understanding of the dynamics of internal politics” has affected general national security, thus “wittingly or unwittingly making the nation more divided” and widened the inequality gap. 10. He accused the Buhari-led government of buck-passing. “For instance, blaming the Governor of the Central Bank for devaluation of the Naira by 70% or so and blaming past governments for it, is to say the least, not accepting one’s own responsibility.  Let nobody deceive us, economy feeds on politics and because our politics is depressing, our economy is even more depressing today.  If things were good, President Buhari would not need to come in.  He was voted to fix things that were bad and not engage in the blame game,” he said. 11. He advised President Buhari not to “over-push his luck or over-tax the patience and tolerance of Nigerians.” 12. He urged President Buhari to honourably “dismount from the horse.” “He needs to have time to reflect, refurbish physically and recoup and after appropriate rest, once again, join the stock of Nigerian leaders whose experience, influence, wisdom and outreach can be deployed on the side line for the good of the country,” Obasanjo counselled. 13. He said the opposition party has shown no better promise from their antecedents. “As the leader of that Party for eight years as President of Nigeria, I can categorically say there is nothing to write home about in their new team.” 14. He canvassed for the creation of a Coalition for Nigeria (CN) Movement which will consist of people who are concerned and willingly-ready for positive and drastic change, progress and involvement “that will give hope and future to all our youth and dignity and full participation to all our women.” 15. He charged Nigerians “to do the extra-ordinary things of changing the course and direction of our lacklustre performance and development” as a nation. “If leadership fails, citizens must not fail and there lies the beauty and importance of democracy. We are challenged by the current situation; we must neither adopt spirit of cowardice nor timidity let alone impotence but must be sustained by courage, determination and commitment to say and do and to persist until we achieve upliftment for Nigeria,” he urged.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday, in a blistering and excoriating 13-page statement, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek re-election in 2019.
Mr. Obasanjo, in a special press statement entitled, “The Wat Out: A Clarion Call for Coalition for Nigeria Movement” said Mr Buhari has performed far below expectation and should honourably “dismount from the horse” to join the league of the country’s former leaders whose “experience, influence, wisdom and outreach can be deployed on the side line for the good of the country.”
Mr Obasanjo, a two-term president on the platform of People Democratic Party (PDP), said he felt disappointed by Mr Buhari, whom he supported during the 2015 election over then incumbent and candidate of his former party, Goodluck Jonathan.
Mr Obasanjo had written a condemnatory open letter in December 2013 titled “Before it is Too Late” where he highlighted the numerous failings of the Jonathan administration.
Mr Obasanjo argued that his decision to go against Mr Jonathan at the time was the right one, as events in the last three years have since proved, was for the good of the nation and nothing personal.
“Even the horse rider then, with whom I maintain very cordial, happy and social relationship today has come to realise his mistakes and regretted it publicly and I admire his courage and forthrightness in this regard,” Mr. Obasanjo said.
“He has a role to play on the side line for the good of Nigeria, Africa and humanity and I will see him as a partner in playing such a role nationally and internationally, but not as a horse rider in Nigeria again.”
Likening the state of the nation to lice-invested clothes, he said the country’s fingernails is stained with blood as it tries to kill the lice by pressing them in-between two fingernails. According to him, in other to make sure that our fingernails remains blood-free we must do what it takes rid our clothes of lice.
“The lice of poor performance in government – poverty, insecurity, poor economic management, nepotism, gross dereliction of duty, condonation of misdeed – if not outright encouragement of it, lack of progress and hope for the future, lack of national cohesion and poor management of internal political dynamics and widening inequality – are very much with us today,” he wrote.

President George Weah of Liberia made his first appointment

Less than 24 hours after his inauguration as Liberia’s President, George Weah has announced the first set of appointments into his cabinet.

President Weah named seven individuals in his first appointment according to reports by the News Agency of Nigeria.

Former Senate Pro-Tempore Gbezohngar Findley, who local media reports is a close ally of immediate past president, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, has been named Minister of Foreign Affairs.
His appointment further fueled speculations that Weah was receiving support from Johnson-Sirleaf, who was recently expelled by the UP for anti-party activities as reported by Naija News.

Subject to Senate confirmation, Maj.-Gen. Daniel Ziankahn will serve as Minister of National Defence after he was retired as the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).

Brig. Gen. Prince Johnson was appointed to take over from Ziankahn as the new Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia.

Weah also named the Chairman of his party; Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Mr Nathaniel McGill as the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs.

Samuel Tweh, a long-time member of the CDC, who until his appointment, worked as an economic consultant at the Millennium Challenge Corporation under the Ministry of Finance, is to serve as Minister of Finance and Development Planning.

The president appointed Mr Charles Gibson as Minister of Justice, and Mr Sam Mannah as Press Secretary with immediate effect.

Weah has directed that the heads of other government ministries and agencies maintain status quo until further notice.

Weah in his inaugural address renewed his promise to tackle endemic corruption, warning public office holders and government officials to steer clear of corrupt tendencies.

“As officials of government, it is time to put the interest of our people above our own selfish interests. It is time to be honest with our people

“For those who do not refrain from enriching themselves at the expense of the people, the law will take its course,’’ the president said.

MORNING COFFEE Lecture

Beloveth; 1Kings 13:4, And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying Lay hold on him and his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him. I decree and declare that every evil hand stretched at you in the morning, at noonday, in the evening or at night, shall wither by fire. I decree and declare that every evil hand stretched at where you are living, working, schooling, doing business or serving your God shall wither this year in Jesus name. Good morning.

‘I Had Sex With Donald Trump Without Condom’ – Porn Star opened up

Porn star Stormy Daniels says she once had unprotected sex with Donald Trump, US President. Daniels was
reportedly paid $130,000 by Trump to stay silent about the fling.

In a tell-all interview with In Touch, the porn star narrated her sexual encounter with Trump.

Daniels said she met Trump at a charity golf tournament. “The first time I met him was actually out on the course. They brought us out to ride around and he kept looking at me and we were introduced.”

Stormy said she agreed to a dinner date after requesting for her number which he said was simply for business purposes.

“So I said yeah, of course. He invited me. He told me to come up to meet him in his room,” Daniels told the magazine.

“He told me his room number and whatnot. I can’t remember the room number, but I do know that it was the penthouse or at the top of the Harrah’s.”

Daniels said they had a really good banter and dinner in the hotel room before eventually having sexual intercourse.

She said:-

The sex was nothing crazy. He wasn’t like, chain me to the bed or anything. It was one position. I can definitely describe his junk perfectly, if I ever have to.

He definitely seemed smitten after that. He was like, “I wanna see you again, when can I see you again?”

Stormy told In Touch that they did not use protection.

“It was kind of in the moment. And I was really kind of upset about it because I am so, like, careful. The company I

work for is condom-only,” she said.

“But I remember for a fact that we didn’t because I’m allergic to latex. And I didn’t go up there with condoms on me.

“I know that for a fact because 99% of men don’t carry non-latex condoms on them, so I usually always have one in my backpack but I thought I was going to dinner, so I only had a tiny little cocktail purse.”

Daniels also said when she brought up his wife during a conversation, he quickly changed the subject.

“I mentioned her. I was like, “Yeah, what about your wife?” He goes, “Oh, don’t worry about her.” Quickly, quickly changed the subject,  Daniels said

Buhari is incapable to govern Nigeria says.......

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives , Ghali Umar Na'Abba , says President Buhari lacks the physical and intellectual capacity to govern a country like Nigeria and as such he will not be supporting the second term bid being canvassed for by some APC chieftains. Na'Abba who defected from PDP to APC to support President Buhari during the 2015 elections, said this when he spoke to Punch in an interview.
He (President Buhari) hasn’t got the capacity physically and intellectually to govern Nigeria this is my honest opinion.”
The former speaker was called to confirm the statement he made on an interview with Osasu Igbinedion where he stated that he will not be giving his support to President Buhari's second term bid.
There is no way I can support him. I had the opportunity of sitting with the President and telling him that this is what is wrong but he told me that things were wrong before but with his election, everything is right now. That was what he told me and I was very disappointed.” he said
He alleged that President Buhari has sidelined the members of the party in any of his decisions.
I decided to move back to the APC from the PDP to support him because from his utterances, I believed he wanted to add value to democracy and this is three years into his administration and he doesn’t work with the party, he regards party members as evil, he doesn’t work with anybody, he doesn’t consult with anybody in the party. I am a member of the Board of Trustees of the party even though we don’t have it officially. We had a meeting of such a board or whatever you call it in February 2016. That meeting was only called again in November 2017 when he decided that he wanted to get re-elected and he needs us. He promised to reconstitute boards. He had earlier refused to do that because he believed politicians were responsible for all the evil in this country and he also promised to increase the number of ministers. In a nutshell, the President has not added value to democracy by an inch.”

Herdsmen killings is painting Buhari and Fulani's black

Ekiti state governor yesterday told Fulani herdsmen that the killings and atrocities that they have been accused of carrying out is giving everyone from the tribe, including President Buhari, a bad name. At a meeting held with leaders of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria and local Hunters from the state yesterday January 21st 2017, Governor Fayose said the killings and attacks is denting the names of notable
Nigerians from the community.
This killing is giving Fulani people a bad name. If there are no good people among them, how would General Buhari rise to be president? There are doctors, lawyers, engineers and other notable professionals among you. This is denting their names. The greatest of men are the peace makers. Even though President Buhari does not send people to kill, it is spoiling his name. We are to make sure the killing stops.”
He called on the leaders of the Herdsmen association to caution their members against killing anyone in the state. He stressed that he was going to arrest the leaders for any further killing or attacks in the state.
“We won’t be intimidated by the terror of the few. The moment you are caught, you will face the law. The killing by fulani is worse than Boko Haram. We want one Nigeria because we have gone far. Anyone harbouring criminals will not know peace. Enough is enough. Life is sacred and must be treated as such. I’m calling on the Federal Government to be firm, when actions are taken against these mindless individuals, this killing will stop. It is because they are taking it like a family affair; this is not in the interest of Nigeria. Ordinary Nigerians can’t carry AK47 or pump action.
''If you (herdsmen) still want to stay among us, you must accept the responsibility to ensure that none of our people’s farms is destroyed by herdsmen any longer. None of our people must be killed by your men. If any killing or destruction of farms of our people occurs again in that area, I will ensure that I use the law to fight you their leaders. This is the last warning.” he said

MORNING COFFEE Lecture

Beloveth; Do you know that how you address even your child or children can affect your relationship with him /Her/them? Solomon in Proverbs 15:1said, A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger! A good word can become grievous, depending on how it is spoken! Yes! How you say a word or pass across a message can turn it from bad to good or from good to bad! What are your words stirring up? What damage has your manner of word transmission caused in the past! God will send people across you this week /this year 2018 to help you. Keeping your helpers is another thing! May helpers you have lost in the past be restored back to your life and ministry again in Jesus name! But you must learn to keep them! May your tongue and temper not demote you this year or send your helpers running away! Determine in your heart, beginning from your home, to your office and ministry, that you will pass across any information softly! What you say and how you say it matters. Say it softly! This your year! Good morning!

AMAZING! A dead woman gives birth in a coffin

A rural community is stunned and baffled after a dead woman gave birth inside a coffin.

The bizarre “coffin birth” has left some people crying witchcraft after a deceased 33-year-old mother of five‚ Nomveliso Nomasonto Mdoyi‚ of Mthayisi village near Mbizana  in the Eastern Cape gave birth.

This was discovered by funeral parlour staff 10 days after her death‚ on the eve of her funeral.

Staff at the parlour in Mbizana‚ were left traumatised by the incident.

Lindokuhle Funeral parlour owner Fundile Makalana said: "We were so shocked and frightened that we did not even have time to look at the sex of the baby. I have been in the business for more than 20 years and I have never heard of a dead woman giving birth."

Both the stillborn infant and the mother were buried in one big coffin on Saturday.

The deceased woman's mother‚ Mandzala Mdoyi‚ 76‚ said her daughter died suddenly after becoming short of breath at her home. She was nine months pregnant at the time.

"First‚ I was was devastated by the untimely death of my daughter and now I got the shock of my life to learn that she has given birth while she had been dead for 10 days. What is that? God please come and intervene‚" said the grieving mother.

This man died today just 22days after his wedding. Who is responsible for this?

One Emma Onyeaneche Onye, a.k.a Ana Eche na Aguleri, died today, just 22 days after his wedding.

Late Emma, also known as Onyeaneche na Benin Republic, got married on December 29th in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Details surrounding his death is still sketchy but it seems he was killed as most of the tributes by family members and friends are urging him to revenge his death.

"Bro  fight for ur self. Don't allow the person that did dis to go unpunished. Rip uncle Rip ezigbo madu. Rip Emma Mb Onyeaneche" one wrote.
