Beloveth; The word of God in the book of James 4:8 says, Draw close to God and He will draw nigh to you. God does not move! He says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. God's address has been the same since He made Adam and Eve! Psalm 46:1b says that He is a very present help in trouble! That means even in difficult circumstances, when it looks like darkness has hidden His face, God is nearer than your own human spirit. If God forsakes you, He ceases to be God, because He has broken His Word. In this year 2018, be encouraged, even when it seems like your prayers are not being answered or when delay is evidently around your life. Sin, lack of reading the Word, postponing your prayer times, wrong friends /relationships, etc, can make you far from God.
